Food Technology
The department was established in 2003 to provide technical education in field of Food Technology. The Department is running B. Tech. Food Technology programme with 30 seats intake. It caters to the Technical manpower requirements at various levels by adopting a new concept of modular system in technical education with emphasis on practical training in industry.
The department has two (02) highly qualified (doctorate) regular faculty. The Department having well equipped laboratory facilities. The major goals of the department are to impart quality education in the field of Food Science, Technology and Engineering. The main emphasis of the department is on quality education, research and training activities to meet growing demand of food processing industries.
